Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet de désactiver l’affichage d’une boîte de dialogue en cas d’absence du composant système Windows Desktop Search 4.0 ou ultérieur sur l’ordinateur de l’utilisateur et supprime les autres liens fournis dans Outlook pour télécharger ce composant. La nouvelle fonctionnalité de recherche dans Outlook nécessite Windows Desktop Search 4.0 ou une version ultérieure. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, la boîte de dialogue ne s’affiche pas. Si vous désactivez ou ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, la boîte de dialogue s’affiche en cas d’absence de ce composant système. Au démarrage d’Outlook, une boîte de dialogue explique aux utilisateurs comment télécharger le composant système à installer sur leurs ordinateurs. D’autres liens sont également fournis par défaut dans Outlook afin de permettre aux utilisateurs de télécharger le composant système. Remarque : si le composant système requis n’est pas disponible, les boutons de l’onglet du ruban Recherche Outlook sont désactivés indépendamment de la configuration de ce paramètre de stratégie.
