Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet de désactiver la prise en charge des protocoles TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.0, TLS 1.1, TLS 1.2, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) 2.0 ou SSL 3.0 dans le navigateur. Les protocoles TLS et SSL sont des protocoles de protection des communications entre le navigateur et le serveur cible. Lorsque le navigateur tente d’établir une communication protégée avec le serveur cible, le navigateur et le serveur négocient le protocole et la version à utiliser. Le navigateur et le serveur comparent leur liste respective de protocoles et de versions pris en charge, puis choisissent la solution la plus appropriée. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, le navigateur négocie ou non un tunnel de chiffrement à l’aide des méthodes de chiffrement que vous sélectionnez dans la liste déroulante. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, l’utilisateur peut choisir la méthode de chiffrement que le navigateur prend en charge. Remarque : le protocole SSL 2.0 est désactivé par défaut et ne sera plus pris en charge sur Windows 10 version 1607 et les versions ultérieures. SSL 2.0 est un protocole de sécurité obsolète, et l’activation de SSL 2.0 affecte les performances et les fonctionnalités de TLS 1.0.
