Ce paramètre de stratégie permet de définir si les utilisateurs peuvent télécharger et installer des fichiers programmes à installation automatique (composants ne relevant pas d’Internet Explorer) qui sont inscrits avec Internet Explorer (comme Macromedia et Java) et nécessaires pour afficher correctement certaines pages Web. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, les composants manquants qui ne sont pas des composants Internet Explorer sont installés automatiquement. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie, le téléchargement de composants qui ne sont pas des composants Internet Explorer ne se fait qu’avec l’accord de l’utilisateur. Si vous ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, les composants manquants qui ne sont pas des composants Internet Explorer sont installés automatiquement.
