Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet de contrôler si Internet Explorer peut exécuter les modules complémentaires de type objets application d’assistance du navigateur, tels que les barres d’outils. Les objets application d’assistance du navigateur peuvent contenir des défauts, tels que des dépassements de mémoire tampon, qui détériorent les performances ou la stabilité d’Internet Explorer. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, Internet Explorer exécute automatiquement tous les objets application d’assistance du navigateur qui sont installés sur l’ordinateur de l’utilisateur. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie, les objets application d’assistance du navigateur ne sont pas exécutés. Si vous ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, Internet Explorer exécute automatiquement les objets application d’assistance du navigateur qui sont installés sur l’ordinateur de l’utilisateur.
