Ce paramètre de stratégie permet de spécifier le serveur de recherche que Windows utilise pour trouver des mises à jour de pilotes de périphériques. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, vous pouvez sélectionner si Windows effectue la recherche sur Windows Update, sur un serveur géré ou sur une combinaison des deux. Notez que si la combinaison des deux est spécifiée, Windows commence par effectuer la recherche sur le serveur géré, comme un serveur WSUS (Windows Server Update Services). Si aucune mise à jour n’est trouvée, Windows recherchera alors également sur Windows Update. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou ne le configurez pas, les membres du groupe Administrateurs peuvent déterminer le serveur utilisé pour la recherche de pilotes de périphériques.
