User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Project 2016\Project Options\View\Calendar Type Description
Allows you to set the default calendar type. You need to have the Complex Script and East Asian language packs installed on the operating system in order for this setting to be available. If you enable this setting, you can set the default calendar type. If you disable or do not configure this setting, the user's default setting is used.

BETAConfigure the state, scope and options, then generate .reg, PowerShell, Intune and SCCM outputs — or add the setting to a multi-setting collection.
These exports write the registry — this is not a managed GPO. ⓘ
