Ce paramètre détermine la durée (en jours) après laquelle Outlook arrête de synchroniser un dossier avec Exchange si l’utilisateur n’a pas accédé à ce dossier pendant cette période. Supposons que cette option est définie sur la valeur 45. L’utilisateur A ouvre le calendrier de l’utilisateur B dans Outlook, puis ne clique plus dessus pendant 45 jours. Outlook arrête alors de synchroniser les données avec Exchange, et le calendrier n’est plus mis à jour. La copie locale des données est supprimée du fichier OST. Si l’utilisateur A clique sur le calendrier de l’utilisateur B 90 jours plus tard, Outlook synchronise les données du calendrier et redémarre l’horloge pendant 45 jours.
