Ce paramètre de stratégie définit si les comptes Microsoft personnels peuvent être configurés de manière à utiliser MAPI dans Outlook. Un compte Microsoft personnel est un compte hébergé sur Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, Msn.com ou toute déclinaison sur ces domaines. Si vous activez cette stratégie, les utilisateurs ne pourront pas configurer un compte Microsoft personnel de manière à utiliser MAPI dans Outlook. Cela signifie que dans la boîte de dialogue Ajouter un compte dans Outlook, les utilisateurs doivent choisir « Configuration manuelle ou types de serveurs supplémentaires », sélectionner Suivant, puis sélectionner « POP ou IMAP ». Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, les utilisateurs peuvent configurer un compte Microsoft personnel de manière à utiliser MAPI dans Outlook. Ils peuvent procéder en choisissant « Compte de messagerie » dans la boîte de dialogue Ajouter un compte. Notez que les comptes Microsoft personnels qui sont configurés de manière à utiliser MAPI seront automatiquement configurés afin d’utiliser le mode Exchange mis en cache. Ce paramètre ne peut pas être modifié.
