Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet de masquer la case à cocher « Conserver la compatibilité avec les versions antérieures de Word ». Pour tout format de fichier en mode de compatibilité, la boîte de dialogue Enregistrer sous contient une case à cocher « Conserver la compatibilité avec les versions antérieures de Word » lors de l’enregistrement dans l’un des formats de fichier Open XML. Cette case à cocher permet aux utilisateurs de conserver la fidélité des documents ouverts en mode de compatibilité lors de leur enregistrement dans l’un des formats de fichier Open XML. L’activation de cette case à cocher empêche la conversion vers la version de Word qui enregistre le fichier. La conversion permet d’optimiser la fidélité à la version de Word qui enregistre le fichier et elle est recommandée aux utilisateurs qui souhaitent que leurs documents Word soient compatibles avec cette version. La conversion a toutefois un impact sur la fidélité et la compatibilité de certaines fonctions lorsque le fichier est ouvert par une version antérieure de Word. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, la case à cocher « Conserver la compatibilité avec les versions antérieures de Word » est masquée. La fonction Enregistrer sous pour l’un des formats Open XML conservera toujours la compatibilité aux versions antérieures de Word. Le fichier en mode de compatibilité ne pourra pas être converti dans la version de Word qui enregistre le fichier. Si vous désactivez ou ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, la case à cocher « Conserver la compatibilité avec les versions antérieures de Word » s’affiche dans la boîte de dialogue Enregistrer sous. À moins que cette option soit activée par l’utilisateur, le fichier Open XML sera converti lors de l’enregistrement du document. Une boîte de dialogue finale s’affiche néanmoins par défaut lors de l’enregistrement pour permettre à l’utilisateur de confirmer qu’il souhaite enregistrer le fichier sans activer la case à cocher « Conserver la compatibilité avec les versions antérieures de Word ».
