Ce paramètre de stratégie permet à un administrateur de remplacer le comportement d’un environnement Windows Shell spécifique par un comportement Shell classique. Si vous activez ce paramètre, les utilisateurs ne peuvent pas configurer leur système pour ouvrir les éléments par simple clic (comme dans l’option Souris du Panneau de configuration). Ainsi, l’interface utilisateur aura le même aspect et s’utilisera de la même façon que l’interface de Windows NT 4.0, et les utilisateurs ne pourront pas restaurer les nouvelles fonctionnalités. L’activation de cette stratégie entraîne également la désactivation du volet de visualisation ; par ailleurs, elle définit l’utilisation des options d’affichage classique des dossiers dans l’Explorateur de fichiers et empêche toute modification de ces options par les utilisateurs. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou ne le configurez pas, le comportement par défaut de l’Explorateur de fichiers est appliqué à l’utilisateur. Remarque : dans les systèmes d’exploitation antérieurs à Windows Vista, l’activation de ce paramètre de stratégie entraîne la désactivation de l’affichage Active Desktop et web. Ce paramètre de stratégie est également prioritaire sur le paramètre Activer Active Desktop. Si les deux paramètres de stratégie sont activés, Active Desktop est désactivé. Consultez également le paramètre de stratégie Désactiver Active Desktop dans Configuration utilisateur\Modèles d’administration\Bureau\Active Desktop et le paramètre de stratégie Ne pas autoriser l’ouverture des Options des dossiers à partir du bouton Options de l’onglet Affichage du ruban dans Configuration utilisateur\Modèles d’administration\Composants Windows\Explorateur de fichiers.
