Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet de configurer le codage des graphiques pour utiliser le codec RemoteFX sur le serveur Hôte de session Bureau à distance afin que les sessions soient compatibles avec des périphériques client léger autres que Windows conçus pour Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Ces clients ne prennent en charge que le codec RemoteFX de Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, les sessions des utilisateurs sur ce serveur n’utilisent que le codec RemoteFX de Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 pour le codage. Ce mode est compatible avec les périphériques client léger qui ne prennent en charge que le codec RemoteFX de Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Si vous désactivez ou ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, les clients légers autres que Windows qui ne prennent en charge que le codec RemoteFX de Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 ne peuvent pas se connecter à ce serveur. Ce paramètre de stratégie ne s’applique qu’aux clients qui utilisent le protocole RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) 7.1 et il n’affecte pas les clients qui utilisent d’autres versions du protocole RDP.
