Cache tous les dossiers dans la section réservée à l’utilisateur du menu Démarrer (en haut). D’autres éléments apparaissent, mais les dossiers sont cachés. Ce paramètre est destiné à être utilisé avec les dossiers redirigés. Les dossiers redirigés apparaissent dans la section principale du menu Démarrer (en bas). Cependant, la version originale du dossier spécifique utilisateur apparaît toujours en haut du menu Démarrer. Dans la mesure où l’affichage de deux dossiers ayant le même nom peut dérouter les utilisateurs, ce paramètre permet de cacher les dossiers spécifiques aux utilisateurs. Notez que ce paramètre cache tous les dossiers spécifiques aux utilisateurs, pas uniquement ceux associés aux dossiers redirigés. Si vous activez ce paramètre, aucun dossier n’apparaît dans la section supérieure du menu Démarrer. Si les utilisateurs ajoutent des dossiers au répertoire du menu Démarrer dans leur profil utilisateur, les dossiers apparaissent dans le répertoire mais ne sont pas affichés dans le menu Démarrer. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre ou s’il n’est pas configuré, Windows 2000 Professionnel et Windows XP Professionnel affichent les dossiers des deux sections du menu Démarrer.
