Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet de supprimer le lien Rechercher du menu Démarrer, et désactive certains éléments de recherche de l’Explorateur de fichiers. Notez que cela n’entraîne pas la suppression de la zone de recherche du nouveau menu Démarrer du nouveau style. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, l’élément Rechercher est supprimé du menu Démarrer et du menu contextuel qui s’affiche lorsque vous cliquez avec le bouton droit sur le menu Démarrer. En outre, le système ne répond pas lorsque les utilisateurs appuient sur la touche Application (la touche Windows)+ F. Remarque : le fait d’activer ce paramètre de stratégie empêche également l’utilisateur d’utiliser la touche F3. Dans l’Explorateur de fichiers, l’élément Rechercher s’affiche toujours dans la barre d’outils des boutons Standard, mais le système ne répond pas lorsque l’utilisateur appuie sur Ctrl+F. De plus, l’élément Rechercher n’apparaît pas dans le menu contextuel lorsque vous cliquez avec le bouton droit sur une icône représentant un lecteur ou un dossier. Ce paramètre de stratégie affecte uniquement les éléments de l’interface utilisateur spécifiés. Il n’affecte pas Internet Explorer et n’empêche pas l’utilisateur de recourir à d’autres méthodes de recherche. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, le lien Rechercher est disponible dans le menu Démarrer.
