S’il est activé, les clients ne peuvent pas interroger l’index de cet ordinateur à distance. Aussi, lorsqu’ils parcourent les partages réseau stockés sur cet ordinateur, ils ne peuvent pas y effectuer de recherches à l’aide de l’index. S’il est désactivé, les demandes de recherche des clients utilisent l’index de cet ordinateur. Par défaut, ce paramètre est désactivé.
