Ce paramètre de stratégie permet d’autoriser ou d’interdire l’utilisation des composants logiciels enfichables Applications (types d’élément de préférence Applications). En cas d’interdiction, aucun type d’élément de préférence Applications n’apparaît lorsque vous essayez de créer un élément de préférence Applications et il est donc impossible d’en créer. Ce paramètre de stratégie n’a aucun effet sur les éléments de préférence Applications existants. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, l’utilisation des composants logiciels enfichables Applications est permise. L’activation de ce paramètre de stratégie ne remplace pas les paramètres de stratégie ayant pour effet de restreindre l’utilisation des extensions de préférence. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie, l’utilisation des composants logiciels enfichables Applications est interdite et il est impossible de définir de nouveaux éléments de préférence Applications.
