Ce paramètre de stratégie détermine si Windows 10 utilisateurs de l’application Outlook et de l’application web Outlook verront une recommandation pour installer la nouvelle extension Microsoft Outlook pour Microsoft Edge. Si un utilisateur choisit de cliquer sur la recommandation, il est dirigé vers la page d’extension Microsoft Outlook où il peut choisir d’installer cette extension de productivité basée sur le web. Vos utilisateurs peuvent ignorer la recommandation et ne verront la recommandation que deux fois. Si vos utilisateurs choisissent d’installer l’extension, ils pourront accéder à leurs courriers, calendriers, contacts et tâches à partir d’une icône dans Microsoft Edge sans avoir à ouvrir un autre onglet de navigateur. L’extension est une « mini » version d’Outlook sur le web qui fonctionne comme un menu volant en un clic à partir de l’en-tête du navigateur. À l’avenir, Microsoft peut publier une version de cette extension pour le navigateur Chrome. Microsoft respectera également cette stratégie pour les futures promotions d’une extension Chrome. Si vous activez ou ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, la recommandation est présentée à l’utilisateur. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie, la recommandation ne sera pas présentée à l’utilisateur.
