Par défaut, l’utilisateur peut ajouter des fichiers PST à son profil Outlook et utiliser des fichiers PST à partage exclusif pour stocker des listes SharePoint et des calendriers Internet. Ce paramètre vous permet de restreindre les fonctions de stockage du courrier électronique de manière décentralisée pour l’utilisateur. Vous pouvez interdire complètement l’utilisation des fichiers PST. Toutefois, dans ce cas, certaines fonctions Outlook sont désactivées, comme les listes SharePoint et les calendriers Internet. Si vous n’autorisez que l’ajout de fichiers PST à partage exclusif aux profils utilisateur, l’utilisation des fichiers PST est restreinte, mais les fonctions Outlook reposant sur des fichiers PST spéciaux ne sont pas désactivées. Le paramètre autorisant l’ajout de fichiers PST à partage exclusif empêche l’utilisateur de créer des dossiers dans le fichier PST à partage exclusif, de copier des dossiers de courrier dans le fichier PST à partir de la banque par défaut, et de copier des éléments de courrier individuels à la racine du fichier PST.
