Limite le pourcentage de l’espace disque de l’ordinateur qui peut être utilisé pour stocker les fichiers hors connexion mis en cache automatiquement. Ce paramètre désactive également l’option « Quantité d’espace disque à utiliser pour les fichiers hors connexion temporaires » de l’onglet Fichiers hors connexion. Il empêche les utilisateurs de tenter de modifier l’option pendant qu’un paramètre en a le contrôle. La mise en cache automatique peut être définie sur tout partage de réseau. Quand un utilisateur ouvre un fichier sur le partage, le système stocke automatiquement une copie du fichier sur l’ordinateur de l’utilisateur. Ce paramètre ne limite pas l’espace disponible pour les fichiers que les utilisateurs rendent disponibles hors connexion manuellement. Si vous activez ce paramètre, vous pouvez spécifier une limite d’espace disque pour la mise en cache automatique. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre, le système limite l’espace occupé par les fichiers mis en cache automatiquement à 10 pour cent de l’espace du lecteur système. Si vous ne configurez pas ce paramètre, l’espace disque pour les fichiers mis en cache automatiquement est limité à 10 pour cent du lecteur système par défaut, mais les utilisateurs peuvent modifier cette valeur. Conseil : pour modifier la quantité d’espace disque utilisée pour la mise en cache automatique sans recourir à un paramètre, dans l’Explorateur Windows, dans le menu Outils, cliquez sur Options des dossiers, cliquez sur l’onglet Fichiers hors connexion, puis utilisez le curseur associé à l’option « Quantité d’espace disque à utiliser pour les fichiers hors connexion temporaires ».
