Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet de spécifier le nombre maximum d’éléments qui sont ajoutés au cache du client suite à l’exécution d’une requête. Plusieurs opérations en bloc (en particulier les requêtes) peuvent renvoyer un grand nombre d’éléments à ajouter au cache. Cela augmente la taille du cache, qui peut dépasser la limite des 4 Go imposée par Microsoft SQL Server CE. Cela augmente également le volume de travail nécessaire pour synchroniser le cache, ainsi que la charge sur le serveur métier. Afin de protéger le système, une limite est utilisée – tout résultat traité avant la limite demeure valide, mais l’opération est marquée comme ayant échoué et sera retentée ultérieurement. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, vous pouvez spécifier le nombre maximum d’éléments qui sont ajoutés au cache du client suite à l’exécution d’une requête. Si vous désactivez ou ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, une valeur par défaut de 2 000 éléments est utilisée.
