Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet d’indiquer si les notifications sont présentées à l’utilisateur lorsqu’une connexion DHCP ne parvient pas à récupérer une adresse IP sur un serveur DHCP. Ceci est souvent indiqué par l’affectation d’une adresse IP privée automatique (une adresse IP située dans l’étendue 169.254.*.*). Cette affectation signifie qu’aucun serveur DHCP n’a pu être joint, ou bien que le serveur DHCP a été joint mais n’a pas pu fournir une adresse IP valide. Par défaut, une notification est affichée pour donner à l’utilisateur des informations sur la résolution possible du problème. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, cette condition n’est pas signalée en tant qu’erreur à l’utilisateur. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, les connexions DHCP auxquelles aucune adresse IP n’a été affectée sont signalées par une notification, offrant à l’utilisateur des informations sur la résolution du problème.
