Ce paramètre de stratégie spécifie l’ordre dans lequel Windows Installer recherche les fichiers d’installation. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, par défaut, Windows Installer effectue d’abord des recherches sur le réseau, ensuite sur les médias amovibles (disquettes, CD-ROM ou DVD) et enfin sur Internet (URL). Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, vous pouvez modifier l’ordre de recherche en spécifiant les lettres représentant chaque source de fichiers dans l’ordre dans lequel vous voulez que Windows Installer effectue la recherche : -- « n » représente le réseau ; -- « m » représente les médias ; -- « u » représente une URL ou Internet. Pour exclure une source de fichiers, omettez la lettre qui représente ce type de source ou supprimez-la.
