Internet Explorer utilise les informations de type MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) pour décider comment gérer les fichiers reçus depuis un serveur Web. Ce paramètre de stratégie indique si Internet Explorer exige que toutes les informations concernant les types de fichier fournies par les serveurs Web soient cohérentes. Par exemple, si le type MIME d’un fichier est text/plain mais que la détection MIME indique qu’il s’agit d’un fichier exécutable, Internet Explorer renomme le fichier en l’enregistrant dans le cache Internet Explorer et en modifiant son extension. Ce paramètre de stratégie permet aux administrateurs d’indiquer les applications pour lesquelles ils souhaitent bloquer ou activer cette fonctionnalité de sécurité. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie avec la valeur 1, la gestion de MIME est activée. Avec la valeur 0, les informations concernant types les de fichiers peuvent être incohérentes. Le nom de la valeur est le nom du fichier exécutable. Si un nom de valeur est vide ou si la valeur est différente de 0 ou de 1, le paramètre de stratégie est ignoré. N’entrez pas de processus Internet Explorer dans cette liste : utilisez la stratégie Processus Internet Explorer associée pour activer ou désactiver les processus Internet Explorer. Si le paramètre de stratégie Tous les processus est activé, les processus configurés ici sont prioritaires sur ce paramètre. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, la fonctionnalité de sécurité est autorisée.
