Ce paramètre de stratégie vous permet d’appliquer le mode plein écran, qui désactive la barre de navigation, la barre de menus et la barre de commandes. À compter de Windows 8, cette stratégie s’applique uniquement à Internet Explorer sur le Bureau. La barre de navigation offre des fonctionnalités pour naviguer parmi les pages web, effectuer des recherches sur le web à l’aide d’une sélection d’outils de recherche, afficher un historique des pages visitées, effectuer des impressions, mais aussi accéder à la messagerie électronique et aux groupes de discussion. La barre de menus contient des menus qui ouvrent des listes de commandes d’impression, de personnalisation d’Internet Explorer, de copier-coller de texte, de gestion des Favoris et d’accès à l’aide. La barre de commandes offre à l’utilisateur des options d’accès et de gestion pour les Favoris, les flux, les raccourcis vers la page d’accueil et bien d’autres choses encore. Le mode plein écran désactive ces trois barres, ainsi que les raccourcis vers ces dernières. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, la barre de navigation, la barre de menus et la barre de commandes ne sont pas visibles. En outre, l’utilisateur ne peut pas accéder à ces dernières. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie ou si vous ne le configurez pas, l’utilisateur peut afficher la barre de navigation, la barre de menus et la barre de commandes. En outre, il a accès à ces dernières.
