Ce paramètre de stratégie spécifie si Internet Explorer lit les fichiers multimédias qui utilisent des codecs de remplacement et qui nécessitent des logiciels supplémentaires. Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, Internet Explorer lit ces fichiers, si les logiciels appropriés sont installés. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre de stratégie, Internet Explorer ne lit pas ces fichiers. Si vous ne configurez pas ce paramètre de stratégie, l’utilisateur peut modifier l’option « Activer d’autres codecs dans des éléments multimédias HTML5 » sous l’onglet Avancé de la boîte de dialogue Options Internet.
