Ce paramètre de stratégie limite le temps de téléchargement des fichiers utilisés par le service de transfert intelligent en arrière-plan (BITS, Background Intelligent Transfer Service) dans une tâche BITS. Cette limite s’applique uniquement au temps nécessaire à BITS pour le téléchargement. Lorsque le temps de téléchargement cumulé dépasse cette limite, la tâche indique un état d’erreur. Par défaut, le service BITS utilise un temps de téléchargement maximal de 90 jours (7 776 000 secondes). Si vous activez ce paramètre de stratégie, vous pouvez définir le temps de téléchargement maximal de la tâche sur un nombre de secondes spécifié. Si vous désactivez ce paramètre ou ne le configurez pas, la valeur par défaut de 90 jours (7 776 000 secondes) est utilisée.
